Yoga For Well-Being

Yoga has changed my life. Who I was before and after is a different person and I’m still growing, learning, and changing.⠀Yoga is not a religion, philosophy or dogma - simply tools to enhance our perception. Yoga is the science of being in perfect alignment, in absolute harmony, in complete sync with existence.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There are actually seven other aspects to yoga than just the poses. These are guides to living with more compassion towards others and towards yourself, how we interact with the world around us, and how we keep ourselves. These other parts of yoga focus on the breath and the ability turn the outside world off and concentrate and meditate.⠀⠀

We can begin our journey of holistic renewal with the body by understanding how to align our bodies with this universal intelligence. After all, we are designed by Nature to be resilient, self-healing, and in balance with the world around us. And once we grasp this idea, we naturally feel energetic, centered, and continually renewed.⠀⠀⠀

When you connect to your body, it promotes well-being. See it as an ally and a friend as it helps you thrive and survive. The same is also true for mind and spirit. And hopefully one day, we will realize the immensity it is to be a human being.

I truly believe everyone can benefit from yoga in more ways than just practicing poses. Try breathing with awareness or practicing kindness to strangers. I’d love to know how it makes you feel.
